Antique photo in Gutta Percha case ( Item # 34521 )
Ambrotype photo of woman holding small child in its original gutta percha case. Case has scroll-like design front as back. Inside is original red velvet liner and interior photo frame. Hinges and catch work perfectly. In very nice condition with minor wear to case edges. One tiny chip on one corner, and tiny chip back of case as pictured. Measures 3 by 3.5 inches. Daguerrotype in case, dated 1861 ( Item # 35030 )
Daguerrotype of a young woman in black case with gold-colored metal decoration around inner frame. Photo is of Almira d. Kightlinger, in Elmwood, Illinois, dates Sept 10, 1861. Census records show she was born Sept 1841 so this may have been a birthday photograph. Some loss of black coloration lower left corner of photo, red lining of case has small tear; case spine has been repaired. Case latch intact and works well. Nice clear image; case has nice impressed design. Free domestic shippping.

NIKON F CAMERA W/50MM NIKOR LENS EXCELLENT ( Item # 40788 )
This is one of the finest Cameras I have ever seen.
It is in fantastic condition and comes with has everything pictured.
The camera itself is in working condition, however the attached Light Meter does NOT appear to be working which I was told is common because they were selenium??
All manuals / pamphlets are there and the camera is clean inside and out. It comes with the original case which is also in excellent condition and another additional generic case it was stored in. The serial number is listed as #6528356.
I was told a story about a man who took a picture with one of these cameras in Vietnam and when returned home developed the pictures and had a little spec in upper corner, this for some reason irritated the soldier that took the photo so he had it blown up to be absolutely shocked that the tiny spec was actually a Helicopter way off miles away in the background of the sky.
