Bicentennial Originial Thirteen Colonies Spoons ( Item # 21249 )
These silverplate spoons were produced in 1976, as a part of the 200th year celebration of the founding of our country. Each spoon is still wrapped in the original cellophane/plastic packaging and most of those packages remain unopened. There is some very minor oxidation of the metal on some pieces if the package has slipped open. The original box indicates that this is the Bicentennial Original Thirteen Colonies Spoon Collection, 1776-1976--which is a product of the International Silver Company, Meriden, Conn. This would make a great gift for the souvenir spoon collector. The thirteen colonies represented are: Maryland, Massachusetts, Delaware, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Georgia, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
The price is $60.00 for the boxed set.

Antique Silver Plate by The Acme Silver Company / Xmas 1893 ( Item # 33737 )
The Acme Silver Company is the maker of this Antique Silver plate. The inscription engraved inside the shield says "Ina DeRomker Xmas 1893". I'm not positive but the design looks like the Salvation Army insignia. The edge has a beautiful raised design and the mark is on the back " The Acme Silver Co. " Quadruple.
This Silver Platter must have been a presentation to Ms. DeRomker or maybe an 1893 Christmas gift.

FABULOUS ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER GORHAM WISHBONE SHAPED SUGA ( Item # 43474 )
Today we are featuring a tiny tool manufactured in Sterling Silver: a wishbone shaped sugar tongs.
This wishbone design hides a hidden spring which allows one to compress the tongs and grasp a sugar cube. Very Clever!
There are 3 maker’s marks on the inside of the right tong which seems to indicate that the maker of this tool was Gorham. We can see a lion, an anchor symbol and a “G”.
The tongs measures 3.5” in height and measures 3 – 5/16” in length. This case measures a mere 7/16” in width.
This pair of tongs is in excellent condition considering its age.
A wonderful designed antique tool that still could be utilized today.

Westmorland Sterling Flatware 8 Place Setting 44 Pieces ( Item # 32123 )
Silver Prices are climbing and this Westmorland Martha & George Sterling 8 Place Setting, 5 Pieces per setting can only go higher in price.
Setting includes: 8 knifes, 8 salad forks, 8 dinner forks, 8 teaspoons and 8 soup spoons. Also included is a sugar spoon, ladle, serving table spoon and butter knife for a total of 44 pieces.
We were offered $600 on this set from a "meltdown" person and turned it down. With silver at $18 an ounce and expected to go higher we would hope someone purchases the set so we don't have to send it to a meltdown person sometime in the future.
This is rather a simple pattern and a heavier than normal weight per piece. We have had some lighter pieces, but this weighs out heavier.
A nice Pacific box comes with this set -- as illustrated in the photo.
