Blue Transferware Small Cup - "For a Good Child" ( Item # 41881 )
At some period in time these were used to be given as a reward to a child for some reason. It measures about 2 1/4" high x 3" diameter at the top of the cup. The blue design includes birds, butterflies, flowers, and fruit. The handle is applied. There are a few small flaws in the making, under the glaze, and one short line on the rim which I cannot tell if it is a short crack or was in the making. There is no marking on the bottom as to the maker of the cup. It is just a nice little cup "for a good child". This item will be shipped Parcel Post rather than Priority Mail; shipping will be calculated after sale.
