INDIAN SILVER TURQUOISE RING!
Over an ounce of silver, size 12. 1" wide by 1½" long. A beautiful design of two feathers framing an Indian smoking a piece pipe. The turquoise looks like it might represent a papoose, but we can't quite agree on the actual image. C'est la Vie.
This is a HUGE ring, a big chunk of silver. The ring is unsigned, but it is still a wonderful piece of American Indian artisanship.

BEAUTIFUL NATIVE AMERICAN SILVERPLATED BRACELET!
2½" wide with a 1" opening. The silverplate band is ¾" wide and stamped with many beautiful Native American symbols: crossed arrows, a tomahawk, an eagle, a tribal chief in full headdress, a teepee, a horse, and a peace pipe. In very good condition. Some normal wear but this will polish up very nicely.
A lovely piece, well worth having.

Striking German vintage Art Deco necklace combines a black onyx pendant that has applied sterling silver and marcasite basket motif center decoration with bullet-nose shaped black glass beads that are "cut" with slices of faceted-edge clear crystal and alternate with crystal faceted beads. The necklace measures a generous 16-1/2" and has a sterling silver bezel and sterling silver marcasite-appointed closure. The central medallion is encased in a sterling silver bezel and measures approximately 1-3/8 x 1". The bezel of the necklace is stamped "Sterl" and part of the word "Germany" is also stamped next to it. The necklace is genuine vintage Art Deco dating to the 1920s-30s. Elegant 2-3/4" bar style brooch features sterling silver with marcasite trim and black onyx inlay. Sterling bars across the onyx make this more of geometric pattern. This vintage brooch is mesmerizing with all of the design work, mostly Art Nouveau. The lovely woman in the center with a "secretive" look, the curling blossoms, hearts and marcasites. Openwork design with older c-clasp on the back. This is a silvertone metal - does not test sterling on the back, but the front overlay may be sterling or silver content. This fabulous buckle is an estate piece and belonged to an 80-year-old lady's grandmother. The buckle is marked Sterling and also another mark I cannot identify inside an oval. The buckle depicts two lovely ladies swimming in a froth of waves. The detail is wonderful as is the size 6" total x 2" width. Reproductions are proliferating everywhere in Art Nouveau jewelry because the originals are so difficult to find nowdays. We will always tell you if an item is a reproduction. This is NOT a reproduction, but a tiny treasure collar or lapel pin featuring a silver cameo profile of a lovely lady with flowing hair and what looks like a pearl headband. She is mounted on an openwork filigree background. this has the older c-clasp and measures 1" across. Very pretty. Look for us to be adding more Art Nouveau jewelry soon.

You find the reproductions every day, but this is an original vintage sterling brooch in the Art Nouveau style featuring a lovely woman with hair flowing to shape a flower. This measures about 2" and has fabulous detail and wonderful patina. The brooch has the older c-clasp on the back and is signed "Sterling". Hollow construction so it is lightweight enough to wear on the sheerest of fashions or a jacket lapel. Arts and Crafts Turquoise Sash Brooch ( Item # 26741 )
A beautiful example of Arts and Crafts jewelry which was made between approximately 1890 and 1914 . This sash brooch is 2-1/2" oval and features a hand done design reflecting the nouveau period while layering an abstract top design featuring a single turquoise cabochon. I have not cleaned this, leaving the natural patina. You can see the design work from the back. This has the older wide c-clasp but is otherwise not marked. In very good condition.

Brooch - Brass Arts and Crafts Style - TOEY ( Item # 21467 )
An unusual brass brooch with an Arts and Crafts period look to it. This is from an estate and I do not know much about the significance of the figure represented on the front labeled TOEY? Figure is profile of a woman or man? with long shoulder length hair and a cloche type hat. What look like chain links are featured below with either a lock or hook. Center is hammered and edges are punched decorated (not all the way through) I have not tried to clean this at all. It is in good condition and has an older c'clasp.

This is an estate piece and features a 3-1/4" leafy background with center beaded accents. Unusual in that this has a "hammered" look to the back, but the front is smooth. A vintage designed piece that unfortunately has no signature or markings. It does, however, test sterling.

This is another estate item just acquired. Nice butterscotch swirl, semi translucent carved bakelite horse head. Black cut in reins and eye. 2-1/4" long x 2-1/2" wide nose to ear. Tested Bakelite. No chips or scratches. A really gorgeous bakelite item with great carved detail.

Hand crafted vintage bakelite cherries pin features five whopper-sized bakelite cherries that measure approximately one inch. The apple-jade-colored green bakelite leaves are detailed with carved veining. (PLEASE NOTE: The frosty appearance of the leaves is glare on the smooth surface--the only way our photography skills could capture the veining on the leaves.) The strings and cherries appear to be very secure and in excellent condition. Interestingly, this hand made piece has a signature on the reverse that is carved into the bakelite and looks like a stylized "K". This is a great, old vintage bakelite cherries pin that measures approximately 4-1/8 x 3-1/2". There is an applied pin back with safety closure. Bakelite: Vintage Bakelite Clamper Bracelet Earrings Set ( Item # 9334 )

It is a grapey wine color and I think closest to the deep red of ripe Bing cherries--what a saavy and clever fashion neutral! As for the carving, it is to-die-for: deep and sensuously cut and polished curves in shrimp fashion across the top and bottom with stylized S-curves across the center. Gorgeous floral chasing on two brass curved rods remind me of an ornate Victorian wedding band. The finely carved dome earrings have the decorative brass strip down the centers and measure 3/4" round. They are screw-backs. The bracelet is quite a "hunk" of bakelite measuring 1/2" thick on the top half. It has a hinged "clamper" type closure that is solid and strong. The inner dimension of the closed bracelet is 2-1/4" X 1-3/4". This is a very special set IMHO having come directly out of the drawer of a lady who is no longer in need of it. In between the large central bullseyes, there are smaller ones that alternate at both the top and bottom of the bracelet. The smaller ones are not cut through. The charm of the hand crafting is evident in the fact that the spacing of the bullseyes overlaps in places and there is a spot which appears as if the carver slipped and started to drill a central hole in a spot where it wasn't intended. We do not consider this a defect, but wish to point it out for the sake of full disclosure. The bracelet measures approximately 5/8" and is in Excellent Condition. Vintage plastic and wood dog bone and Scottie dog pin looks like black bakelite but is probably vintage thermoset plastic like the old rhinestone and plastic clamper bracelets that many refer to as bakelite. This charming pin has a very nicely carved Scottie dog in the center of a very sculptural black dog bone. It measures approximately 3-1/8 x 1" and has an embedded pin stem and safety closure.
