Bourjois Evening in Paris Powder and Rouge Compact ( Item # 37761 )

Beautiful Bourjois compact - Art Deco silvertone with blue floral enamel motif on the front. Inside powder and rouge look never used - puffs are clean. Mirror does have some age wear. The plastic is still over the puffs. This measures 2-1/4 x 3-1/4". {msg2}

Cara Nome Langlois New York Compact Set ( Item # 24882 )

From an estate this is a set by Langlois patented July 1924 and featuring silvertone compacts - one powder 2-1/2"+ diameter and rouge 1-3/4" diameter. Both have the puffs included with some product left. Art Deco designing. Mirror is in fair shape, no peeling. Slight wear to the outside otherwise in very good condition.

Compact: Vintage Art Deco Guilloche Enamel Compact & Ring ( Item # 19216 )

Art Deco silver plated and engine turned compact for both rouge and face powder has a beautiful guilloche enamel focus that features pink and white rose and green foliate decoration on a vibrant light green ground. The guilloche enamel decoration measures approximately 1 x 1/2" and is in Excellent Condition. The compact has a chain with a finger ring attached. The compact measures approximately 2-1/4 x 1-3/4". The inside of the compact features the original mirror and puffs for both rouge and powder which are contained within separate sections within the compact. Dorset Fifth Avenue Compact, Comb, and Matching Comb Case ( Item # 40551 )

This is probably from around the 1950's era. The compact has some wear marks around the top edge, and there are a few very short light scratches in the center of the compact bottom. The top of the compact and comb case are decorated with faux pearls, inset flat back rhinestones and tiny black or smoke beads. I don't believe the compact has ever been used. The mirror shows some light age marks. The pink powder puff has a small dark spot on the underside. The powder screen is intact, there has never been any powder in it. It is oval 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/4" high. The comb case has a few very short scratches on the reverse side; otherwise it is in very good condition. It measures 4" wide x 1 1/8" high. The clear plastic comb has some wear marks on the edge; otherwise it is in very good condition and is marked U.S.A. The comb case came in a cloth and plastic holder marked "Wiesner of Miami". It shows age darkening. Despite some minor flaws, it is still a highly attractive set.

Dorset Fifth Avenue Floral Design Compact ( Item # 25662 )

Beautiful Dorset Fifth Avenue Compact is 3 x 3" with a brushed silvertone front and blue/green enamel flowers. The front also has an oval space for a monogram or name. Rest of compact is goldtone. Looks never used. Dorset Rex Puff is still inside.

Genuine Vintage Lucite Compact With Handpainted Pansies ( Item # 43642 )

Original tag on inside mirror states: "Genuine Lucite Hand Painted". Compact itself is unmarked. The pansies have nice texture. The mirror has several "splotch" type marks which I was unable to capture in my photos. The compact has the original sifter screen, puff, and remains of loose powder. Some very light vintage scratching on the lucite. The working latch holds tight. It measures 3 3/4" in diameter.

Star of Bethlehem Silver Compact ( Item # 21964 )

This compact is from an estate and features engraved top with "Star of Bethlemen" Design. Compact is 3" diameter and is marked on the back Silver 833 LG. The inside previously held powder and a slight amount remains along with the remnants of a puff. Mirror in good condition. This is in good condition with no serious dings or mars. Vintage Stratton Enamel Floral Compact ( Item # 29945 )

This is a very nice Stratton powder compact measuring about 3-1/2". Top is navy blue enamel with a floral bouquet. Goldtone class back with Stratton logo. One the inside there is no mirror, but Stratton puff is still there as well as powder remnants. This is in a Stratton box and in very good condition. {msg8}{msg2}

Vintage Max Factor Rouge Compact ( Item # 43644 )

This little rouge compact is in very good condition. The rouge appears to have been unused. It contains the original puff. The hinge works well. The only problem I could find was with the mirror showing its vintage age and being darkened around the outside edge. It measures 1 9/16" in diameter. The bottom is marked "Max Factor's Rouge, Carmine, Made in U.S.A., Society Make-up, Hollywood".

Art Deco GIREY Ladies Powder & Rouge Compact ( Item # 39448 )

This is a neat little Art Deco design powder and rouge compact, silvertone metal with what looks like faux mother of pearl finish, probably celluloid with a marble-like appearance & some iridescence. It is made by Girey. It opens with a bottom click button to show a beveled mirror with a few tiny spots. There are two compartments: one is for rouge with the original puff and most of the rouge. The other compartment has a catch that pushes in and flips up, there is no powder but has the original marked Girey puff, and is in clean condition. The inside is marked GIREY and "Pat. Pend U.S. & Forn(?)". The snaps close crisply. The case has some metal wear at the corners but there are no cracks, dents, dings, or chips. The case measures 3" long x 1 3/4" wide.

Comb. Mother of Pearl Lipstick Holder, Mirror w/PetitPoint ( Item # 43174 )

These were popular in the 1950-1960 era. This one has never been used. The top is Mother of Pearl with a center of handmade Schildhraut petitpoint rose. The "Sure-Fit"lipstick holder has never been used, and the original instructions are inside the holder. The mirror has a little of the usual age spotting around the edge; otherwise it is in very good vintage condition. The mirror has a gold sticker "Genuine Hand Made Petitpoint by Schildhraut, 1650 Stitches to the Square Inch". The top mirror part is oval 2 3/4" x 1 3/4". The lipstick holder is about 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide. It folds up to the mirror loosely, which may be because it does not have any lipstick in it, I don't know. Very nice item.

Lipstick Case Holder With Mirror ( Item # 42786 )

This vintage item is covered with black cloth which, under different lighting, appears to be a very dark navy blue. It is decorated with gold thread and has a red cloth interior with an oblong mirror. It has been well cared for except for one tiny mark in the red cloth on the inside, one tiny mark in the black outside cloth, and a few flower petals have a slight pink tinge. This is on the bottom side and I have tried to picture these for you. They are very small flaws and difficult to photograph but I wanted to include them in my description. It measures 3 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide. The snap closure works well and the mirror is in very good condition.

Signed STRATTON England Lipstick Holder With Attached Mirror ( Item # 41944 )

Even though the mirror has edgewear all around, I don't believe this has ever been used as there is no sign of any lipstick having been in it. The top of the mirror is a pretty golden yellow and green floral pattern. When the lipstick tube is inserted, the mirror top folds over and snaps into place. When the mirror top is opened, the lipstick tube will pop up. It is marked on the bottom "Stratton Made In England", also several Patent Numbers. All sides of the tube holder are lined rather than smooth. Other than the mirror, this is in very good condition. It measures 2 1/4" x 1" wide at the center part of the mirror

Vintage Lipstick Case/Holder With Foldout Mirror Signed K&K ( Item # 38658 )

This is a nice lipstick case with white enamel on three sides, and an applied rose. When you pull the lipstick tube out of the case, the mirror pops up for use. The mirror is in nice condition. The red, red lipstick has been used and there are some small lipstick remnants on the tube which I have left. I leave all cleaning up to the buyer. One side of the case is marked K & K, USA, and what looks like a lady's figure inside a shield. These were popular during the 1950s era. There is no damage to the white enamel on three sides, the fourth side is goldtone. Overall this is in very good condition. It measures 2 5/8" x 5/8".

Alpha Tau Delta Elgin Cig. Case, Money & Collectibles ( Item # 34819 )

Inscribed Alpha Tau Delta, this cigarette or money holder measures 3 x 3-3/4". It has Art Deco styling and was made by Elgin American. This is in good condition, normal wear, needing only a little polish. Super for use as a business card holder as well as bills. Included with this compact from the same estate is a 7" fraternity banner and "First Dance Acceptance Card" dated 1938. {msg2}

Rhinestone Polar Bear Trinket, Pill Box, Solid Perfume ( Item # 40672 )

A sparkling rhinestone covered trinket, pill or perfume container in the shape of a polar bear. Measures 2-1/4" long and 1-1/2" high. Opens from the side. Green rhinestone eyes and comes boxed ! This is a New "older" unused box that I purchased about 15 years ago along with quite a few others from a high-end boutique sell out in Florida. Use it for purse or vanity. It will always be a conversation piece. Keep watching for more, but some are one of a kind limited quantity. These are much nicer than some of the newer rhinestone boxes. {msg2}

Star of David Sterling Vintage Pillbox ( Item # 26070 )

This is a very pretty pillbox in sterling silver featuring a cobalt blue glass top with white stars, a golden moon and the Star of David symbol in the center. The design goes through to the inside of the box. The box itself is lightly engraved with a feathered design. Signed and numbered inside 925 and 155VE. Nice tight clasp and in very good condition.

Sterling Silver Victorian Card, Coin Purse ( Item # 41989 )

This is from an estate and is a beautiful coin/card hinged case measuring 2-1/2 x 3-1/4" with chain handle. It opens up to reveal several compartments all lined in gray silk fabric. This is marked inside on the rim N P C inside a hallmark and the word Sterling. The outer design is a lovely all over flora swirl design with flourish monogram in the center. This is in very good condition with the exception of some minor denting which is common with this type of item. A gorgeous piece. Weight is 114 gr.{msg2}

Elaborately detailed Victorian shoe trinket box is enameled in cobalt blue on rich goldtone metal with antiqued, raised and textured detail in both gold and silvertone with a very three dimensional rhinestone pave bow. Vintage Amber and Silver Trinket Box ( Item # 41383 )

I have had this a long time and purchase it from an estate. Said to be genuine amber styled in tiles and inlayed into a silver box framework. I believe it is silverplate. The measurements are 1 x 2" x 1" deep. The lid opens and bottom is lined with red velvet. It looks like there was a repair on the lid and it does not sit perfectly straight with the edge although it does close tightly. Sits on 4 tiny legs. There is a place on the bottom where a tag must have been and it shows a clean shiny silver area so I'm sure the rest of it would clean up nicely. Unusual and very pretty. {msg2}

This is a vintage silvertone box by logo "WED". It features a lovely double heard pattern in the Art Nouveau style with floral accents. Sits on 4 tiny legs. this has a red velvet interior and even the bottom carries a design. Finish is very good - could be cleaned or polished. Hinge is in working order. Vintage Pewter ? Turtle Trinket or Pill Box ( Item # 36630 )

This little box comes from an estate and is obviously very old. Measures a little over 2" long this turtle is on the move. Heavily textured shell is hinged and lifts to a shallow compartment that could have been used for pills or maybe rouge. Inside is painted or enameled in a pale blue. Section on top of shell could be used for monogram although there is none now. No markings on the bottom. Heavy - maybe pewter or pot metal.

Elgin American Carry-All Case, Black Faille Cvr, Red Inside ( Item # 39899 )

This is a great piece from the past for collectors, quality as always from Elgin American. It includes a mirror which has a circular age wear spot, money clip, powder compartment with original puff and sifter, rouge compartment (or pills) and a plastic faux tortoise shell comb which has a wear spot at one corner (or may be when it was snapped apart from the mold). The mirror section lifts for cigarettes or whatever. The powder and rouge compartments snap open and closed very well. The faux tortoise shell comb slips down inside the snap side of the case. The lipstick is missing. The case with its Art Deco look has a raised design with the deer and a stippled background. There is a small spot on the reverse side as shown in my last photo (I have not attempted to clean it in any way, I do not know what caused the mark). The handle fastens with a snap, it has bends due to the way it was folded over and stored. The black faille cover has a few light spots with wear on the bottom corners and one side of the strap. The reverse side of the carry-all has some small spots and a few short light scratches. The carry-all measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/8". The comb measures 4 3/8 x 1". I would guess this to be from the 1940's era.

This is a fun and colorful crafted vintage purse by Enid Collins in pretty clean and nice condition, with just one or two very minor faults. All the jewels are intact, the outside, and backside are in very good condtion with no staining at all…the leather has a little natural cracking from age which is far from distracting (and expected in such a vintage piece)..the outside appearance is very clean..the inside has a stain on the wood, and there is an ink mark on the pocket which might come off with a good cleaning. It is signed Jewel Garden on the left, C with Running Horse on the right, Copyright of the Original Collins of Texas on the inside, and C with Running Horse on the pocket. The zipper on the pocket works fine.
The wood is in nice condition not showing any wear or scratches on the outside.
This purse is the perfect Spring & Summer bag that will certainly draw attention to you as it is truly awesome. You’ll love it I am sure..this is a showy purse!

Beautiful Bob Mackie Cylinder Beaded Purse ( Item # 20721 )

This beautiful and unusual beaded evening bag was designed by Bob Mackie--designer to the stars--and is signed on the inside of the lid. It is multi-colored, in a diamond pattern, and is a round cylinder with a cord strap 48" long. I don't think the purse has ever been used. Date of manufacture is unknown. The picture does not do the purse justice--it's beautiful.

Delill Vintage Handmade Strawberry Beaded Small Purse ( Item # 39169 )

This little strawberry designed beaded purse is made up of hundreds of beads in shades of green and red with little black bead accents. The closure works fine and the purse is in very good condition. It is lined with red satin, the only flaw was in the making which is one black thread stitch came through from the outside. This can be seen in my last photo, on the left side. The interior is clean, lined with red satin and has a label which reads "Delill Hand Made in Japan". I have seen others similar which are marked "Delill Copyright 1965"; however this tag has no date. It measures 5" high x 4 1/2" at the widest part. Please see all pictures. Thanks for looking!

Beautiful white glass beaded purse is by La Regale and measures 5x8-1/2" with a long optional beaded shoulder strap. Gorgeous intricate design, this was made especially for Haddad's of Spring Hill, a upscale boutique here in Charleston, now out of business. This has a zipper top and looks never used. {msg2}

From an estate, this is a nice beaded bag with tortoise frame, beaded handle and fringe at the bottom. Measures about 7 x 6-1/2 " Beautiful beading the design on both sides. It is a little difficult to open but frame and beading all seem to be in very good condition. Inside frame is marked "Germany"

Vintage Beaded Purse - Walborg ( Item # 28561 )

This beautiful bag is by Wolborg and measures 6-1/4 x 9". It has al all over white pearlized beaded design with pale pink and mint green flowers accented with darker green. The clasp is all hand wired and beaded as is the frame of the bag. There are places on the top where a chain could hang if desired. The inside is a creamy satin and there is a stain or water mark. I feel sure this could be easily cleaned. The single inside pocket holds a mirror. All the beading is in very good condition. (msg8}

This is a very pretty bag fabric with all over white plastic/lucite beads accented with clusters of clear and pastel beads. Fabric handle. Goldtone frame. Inside is ivory color fabric. This is in very good condition with the exception of a little cleaning needed on the handle. Beading is inside and out. This is probably from the 1940-1950's. No manufacture name found.

We have up for auction today a fantastic treat: A genuine Gucci Ladies leather handbag with the signature logo design / pattern.
This wonderful item measures 10.5" in length, 7.5" in height and features an inner bag depth of 6.5" . The bag has a style or item # of 1570082.
The interior of the bag is in excellent condition no odors, no tares, no damage, much better than our pictures indicate. In fact, when we opened the interior of the bag we found some actual S & H Green Stamps which would seem to tie this bag's age to the 1960's or 1970's.
This bag is in excellent condition with dark blacks, vibrant reds and gold-colored clasps / snaps. The leather strap looks brand new and the signature logo pattern is uniform throughout; however the appears to be a minor pattern variation of upper rear quarter on the right hand side as pictured. The interior of the handbag is divided into 3 sections; one with has a fourth zippered pocket so there is plenty of room for accessories within.
A terrific buy who all fashion concious women of all ages!

Vintage JR Miami USA Plastic and Gold Bag ( Item # 23837 )

Very nice bag by JR Miami is a satiny fabric covered by plastic. The leafy design (philodendron?) is done with gold threads and is an all over design. Frame is brushed goldtone with very little wear and there is a snap closure and chain handle. Inside is a peachy satin and is in good clean condition. {msg47}{msg2}

Vintage Ladies Faux Alligator Purse - Black ( Item # 30815 )

This is a faux black alligator purse 8 x 6-1/4" clutch style with the hand strap on one side. Beautiful engraved goldtone frame with black cabochon stones. Opens to black satin lining with single side zip pocket. You will notice that there are 3 spaces for cabochons at the clasp - the spaces are enameled black, I believe because the clasp is there and for stones to be present would not be practical.
