Copper-colored metal letter opener with hand-hammered handle in Arts & Crafts style on one side; back is plain. Approximately 10 inches long. The only mark is a faint "C" incised on handle. Handle may have originally been painted green. Few wear marks, great patina; overall good condition. Free domestic shipping.

Brass Stencil "Frank Hurd & Co, 2S, Cleveland, O." ( Item # 37101 )
This is an old unique mellowed brass stencil, used for marking crates, boxes, etc., possibly from the 19th century. It is in original condition, I have not cleaned it. It measures 6 3/4" wide x 3 1/4" high. It has a hole in the upper left corner, probably for hanging the stencil. I would consider it to be in very good vintage condition. I have been unable to locate any information about Frank Hurd & Co. In searching for old brass stencils, all I could find listed for sale was one brass stencil wheel. A neat item which could be hung on the wall or any other way you might choose to display it. An item from another time.

ANTIQUE SPELTER STATUE COLONIAL HORSEBACK RIDERS FENDING OFF ( Item # 43380 )
Today we have for your consideration a very detailed Spelter statue of two colonial horseback riders fending off an attacking wolf.
This is a VERY heavy statue composed of white metal (which is defined as a soft metallic alloy). PLEASE NOTE that we do not suggest picking this piece up by any part / appendage as breakage could occur.
The wood base upon which this statues rests measures 10 – 1/8” in length and is 5.75” in width. The statue shifts upon the base when moved as it probably just needs to be tightened. Four brass circular “feet” are attached to the base and support the entire statue. The base is painted black and does show signs of age related wear.
The very detailed statue itself measures 8.75” in length and is approximately 9” in height. The two colonial riders are atop their steeds and the rider in the foreground has his sword drawn to fend off an attack from a nearby wolf. Both riders are holding tightly to their steed’s reins as they gallop across what appears to be fairly rocky, wooded terrain.
All aspects of this metal-worked statue appear to be intact which no chips, cracks or breaks in evidence. This notary feels that this statue could benefit from a light cleaning to remove its dust / debris.
This statue is in very good condition considering its age and is ready to take up residence on the mantle in your home.
