Brass Sino Tibetan Religious Figure ( Item # 36128 )
Intricate Sino Tibetain Brass Religious Figure with fourteen side arms holding all type of symbolic items. Also, two folded praying arms and below that two additional folded arms against the body holding a ball like object.
It is amazing how well the fourteen arms are attached to the body of the figure whose legs are crossed and sitting on a cone like pedestal.  One arm is a little loose, but intact.  Note the three heads above the figure and a robed figure in the middle of the three heads.  Behind the figure is an intricate arch backdrop.  Nice brass patina on this figure.
This statue is in excellent condition and measures 14 1/4 inches in height, 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep.  The figure weighs nine (9) pounds.

Orientalia / Figurines or the alternate site: Orientalia / Figurines
Bronze Elephant Figurine ( Item # 23129 )
This bronze elephant is an interesting and arresting design, with uplifted trunk and turned head.   It comes in two parts--the howdah is removable.   One of the legs has been repaired but the repair is hard to find.   The blue top knot is not original.   Given these two facts this piece is in very good condition.   It is very heavy--over 6 pounds.

Carved Mahogany Far Eastern Dancer Statue ( Item # 24581 )
Very intricately hand carved Mahogany Dancer.
Extensive detail in this piece, which I would guess is from Bali, but could be another Far Eastern country.

Orientalia / Ivory or the alternate site: Orientalia / Ivory
Chinese Hand Carved Ivory Ball in Balls Puzzle ( Item # 23555 )
Beatiful hand carved Chinese Puzzle Ball in Ball figure.  We believe their are six balls in this floral carved figure.
This figure is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and excellent patina.
When you look carefully at this and other simliar figures you can't but wonder about and ability and time it takes to carve such a figure.

Nodder Head Fukurokuju Figure ( Item # 36067 )
This is a Nodder Head of Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Gods of Good Luck.  He is of Japanese oringin, circa 1890 and probably made in Kyoto.  Originally we believe he had a glazed body usually of green and blues but that got  lost or broken along the way.
This head is attached to a bag or bulb of hardened clay.  If by chance you have a broken head of Fukurokuju you are in luck -- here is the head for your body.
Unglazed head which measures 3 1/4" inches for the head and 5 1/4 inches including the base.  With a body this nodder would be valued at about $300.

Orientalia / Screen or the alternate site: Orientalia / Screen
Vintage Japanese Decorative Table Screen ( Item # 36383 )
Very unusual Hand Painted Small Four Panel Japanese "Geisha Ladies" Table Screen.   Paper over corner wood pieces and hand painted with water colors.
Each panel measures 6" wide and 15 1/4 tall.  Two double hinges with brads.  When extended measures 24 1/4" wide or less when angled.
Overall this screen is in very good condition with no piercing of the paper mache nor damage to painted areas.  Some wear to bottom on one outer panel and other minor wear where it has been folded up and laid down on that surface.
We estimate this to be circa 1911 to 1949's Japanese, but most likely late 1920's.  Rather rare table screen in good condition.
