Vintage Zippered Leather Case For Pencils From Louisville Ky ( Item # 42608 )
An item from the past, probably a souvenir, this leather case has lost a small part of the word "Pencils" and there is light soil. It shows two jockeys on race horses. The zipper is marked "Talon" and it works well. The case is machine stitched. It measures 8 3/8" wide x 3 1/8" high.

Kentucky Derby Lucite Two Minute Sand Timer ( Item # 42636 )
This is an unusual item, I could not locate any information about it on the internet. I do not know the age. The pinkish color sand runs through easily for two minutes. As you can see from the photos, there is the usual short scratches in the lucite. My photo #2 shows a small white inclusion in the lucite. My photo #3 shows that there is a tiny chip off the top right corner. There may be a little age yellowing to the lucite; otherwise it is in good condition. It measures 2 1/4" square and almost 3/4" thick.
