Nice bolo tie features a 32" standard leather black cord with 1-1/2" hand wrought floral design slide. Silvertone ? tips. Mechanism works good. 
FAQ - Bolo ties have been mostly associated with Western wear and have been a standard in  Native American 20th century accessories. New Mexico considers the bolo their State Tie !  In the UK these are known as Bootlace Ties and were associated with the 1950's "Teddy Boys" fad and the 1950's Rockabilly look.   Newly discovered by women as a unique fashion accessory !  {msg2}

Copper Beautiful Designed Bolo Tie ( Item # 41807 )
Beautiful copper bolo tie 3" slide with southwestern floral design on 38" black leather cord with 2-1/2" tips. This is not marked solid copper so it may be heavily copper plated but very nice at any rate. {msg2}

Mexicali Rose Vintage Enamel Bolo or Bola Tie ( Item # 45784 )
A perfect Mexicali Rose bolo (or bola, I've seen it spelled both ways) tie featuring a beautiful 2" in diameter enamel on brass rose design that slides on an 36" single black leather cord. 

By the way - "Mexicali Rose" is a popular song with music by Jack Tenney and lyrics by Helen Stone, published in 1923. {msg2}

Mexican Crushed Turquoise and Alpaca Bolo Slide ( Item # 33868 )
This is a very nice bolo slide - vintage with crushed turquoise inlay and heart/floral engraving. Rope edge. This is not silver, but Alpaca signed Made In Mexico. It has the slide mechanism on the back. {msg9}{msg2}{msg8}

R Begay Sterling Bola - Coral and Turquoise ( Item # 18820 )
This piece looks more Native American or Indian, than Mexican and is signed RB 1981 ( Robert Begay ?). It is a bola with 38" leather cord and 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" sterling slide. The slide features what appears to be a dancer with stars in the background. Turquoise and coral stones accent the piece. Ends of the bolo are capped in sterling "cones" with bead tip.It is in very good condition and is from an estate containing many pieces of quality Mexican and Native American jewelry. MORE LIKE THIS
