Art Deco Stand-up Wedding Guest Place Cards, Bride & Groom ( Item # 41878 )
All of these place cards are in the original box, they have never been used. They have fold-back tabs to allow them to stand up at a place setting.  The front of the cards has a thin gilt edge.  Other than a little age tanning, they are in very good condition with no stains or foxing.  They are almost 4" wide x 2 1/4" at the tallest part.  Other than a little edgewear the box is in very good condition.  The end label reads "Chas. S. Clark Company, New York, Guest Cards".  The box is marked in pencil on the edge "8 cents reduced to 6 cents".  A very unique 1920's item, and would be very unusual and pleasing for a wedding in the present time period.

Vintage Celluloid Wedding Cake Toppers, Set of Five ( Item # 42684 )
I would judge these toppers to be circa 1930-1940.  Their figures look to be celluloid, the girls dresses are all plastic. The bridemaids hats are plastic petal shaped which makes them appear to be cracked which they are not.  The groom's black hat is plastic, I think his arms are a black pipe cleaner, his body is black crepe paper and he is holding a very oversized (brass) ring.  The plastic bases are heart shaped and all have whiteout on the bottom which would not show when they are on the cake.  I think the bride's hair is netting.  They are basically very clean.  All of the ladies are 1 3/4" tall, including the base, ; the groom is 2 1/4" tall.  This is a cute set of toppers from the past.  This item will be shipped Parcel Post rather than Priority Mail; shipping will be calculated after sale.
