Lovely hand-carved wooden shoe, from Continental Europe.  19th century, wood dark with beautiful patina, probably walnut.  Intricate design, this piece is in excellent condition.  Measures approx 3 inches long.  Free domestic shipping.

Minature Speckled Enamelware Bowl ( Item # 34186 )
19th century grey and white speckled enamel miniature bowl; base metal is iron.  Probably from Germany.  Approx 2 and 3/4 inches in diameter and 7/8 inches high.  Few small areas of iron showing through due to wear.  These are hard to find and perfect for a doll's kitchen.  Free domestic shipping.

Miniature Bed Warmer ( Item # 38723 )
Wood and brass miniature of a bed-warmer; cover has raised image of poet Robert Burns.  Unmarked as to maker, but likely from Great Britain.  Turned wooden handle has wonderful patina; brass has rich warm tone.  It has a ring at end of the handle for hanging next to the fireplace as was common in past centuries.  This charming miniature dates from mid 1900's to earlier; condition is very good with no cracks or chips and hinge works well.  Measures 9 inches long.  Free domestic shipping.

Miniature beer stein from Germany, c 1900 ( Item # 34749 )
Tiny beer stein of cream colored pottery with green and brown paint.  Two relief faces on sides of a man and a woman; metal top with hinge.  Measures only 2 inches tall, no marks.  Comes from Hohr-Grenzhausen area of Germany, late 1800's, pre WW I.  In very good condition wth an old hairline crack on handle.  Free domestic shipping.

Pre-WW II doll china - white porcelain, gold trim and blue and orange flowers.  Round covered dish and three dinner-sized plates, all in very nice condition with no chips or cracks; few tiny paint drops from manufacture on one plate.  Plates measure approx 3 and 1/3 inches in diameter and covered dish is nearly 2 inches high.  Marked "Germany" on bottom of each piece.  Free domestic shipping.

Miniature Eveready Flashlight ( Item # 41714 )
This miniature working flashlight is marked "Eveready Union Carbide New York, N. Y. 10017".  It measures 3 1/4" long x 1/2" wide.  It has a few small dings around the bottom edge and some short very light scratches.  It does work.  Inside it has an Energizer Max AA6 battery (as found).  Neat item.

Beautiful miniature fireplace log holder, Arts & Crafts style.  Made of hammered copper; has a movable handle and rests on four curved feet.  It is unmarked, in very nice condition and has a great patina of age.  Lovely decorative piece.  Measures 4 by 3 inches and stands 3 inches tall.  Free domestic shipping.

Miniature Silver Teapot, Birmingham ( Item # 36446 )
Delightful miniature teapot in classical design, lid opens on hinge, and the spout even pours!  Marks on bottom indicate made in Birmingham, England, 1910, by Levi & Salaman (L&S).  Few small dents and wear areas but overall in very nice condition.  Measures 2 by 1 and 5/8 inches and stands just over 1 inch high.  Free domestic shipping.

Charming 19th century miniature tureen bottom made for child's china set.  Blue transferware scene on both sides from "Old Curiosity Shop".  Markings on bottom include Ridgways, Humphrey's Clock, England.  Lid is missing but tureen itself in very good condition with no cracks or chips.   Measures just over 4.5 inches long and stands 1.5 inches high.  Perfect for your antique doll scenes.  Free domestic shipping.

Miniature wooden ironing board, doll-sized ( Item # 38799 )
Old hand-crafted wooden ironing board, suitable for 15+ inch dolls.  Board is unmarked and likely dates from the mid 20th century, possibly 1930's.  It has its original finish, very nice patina.  It stands 8.25 inches high and is 10.25 inches long.  Folds flat.  In excellent condition, only gently wear.  This would add charm to any doll scene. 

Pair of miniature painted wooden shoes from Europe ( Item # 34736 )
Lovely pair of small wooden shoes with sailing vessel painted on tops and interiors painted blue.  Holes drilled in each for tying together.  Probably a European souvenir in late 1800's, or pre WW I.  Condition is good with minor chipping of edges as pictured.  Measure 3 inches long.  Free domestic shipping.

QUAINT ANTIQUE MATCH BOOK COVERS (LOT OF 3) ( Item # 43156 )
 
For today’s auction we are featuring a lot of 3 match box covers..

The first match box cover measures 1 – 11/16” in height and is 1 – 3/16” in width. This cover features one engraved side. The engraved side has vertical lines surrounding a rectangular box on it while the other side of the box is merely smooth without any engraved designs. This piece has normal signs of age-related wear and as such we would rate this as being in good condition.

The second match box cover measures 1 – 13/16” in height and is 1.25” in widthThis cover features two engraved designs; on 1 side Jan Steen is shown playing a mandolin while on the opposite side Rembrandt is depicted. We believe that the material used in the creation of this box is sterling silver but we cannot find any markings and are not sure. There is a fair amount detail present on this piece and we rate this piece as being in very good condition.
The third match box cover measures 1 – 13/16” in height and is 1.25” in width. This cover features one side with a bottle while the other side of the box is merely smooth without any designs. This piece has normal signs of age-related wear and as such we would rate this as being in good condition.
