Desk Set, Ohio State Grange Mutual Ins. Co., Newark Ohio ( Item # 42494 )
This set is still in the original box and I don't believe it has ever been used. The black hardcover box with goldtone band measures 7" long x 4 1/4" inches wide. It still closes nicely. The interior of the lid is white satin which is in very good clean condition; the bottom insert is red velveteen over plastic. The large paper clip holder and the letter opener are in good condition. The tape measure, which is marked "Made In U.S.A.", pulls out easily to 71 inches, the last inch is tight. It locks and retracts well. The hinge fitting on the inside of the box is also marked "Made U.S.A.", as is the reverse of the paper clip. The inside bottom of the box does have some rust spots to which I have done nothing, I am selling this as found. These spots do not show when the box is assembled, but you should be aware that they are there. This item will be shipped Parcel Post rather than Priority Mail; shipping will be calculated after sale.

Germany Plastic Marbleized Green & Gold Pencil Sharpener ( Item # 41984 )
This little pencil sharpener is made of some type of plastic. It does not test positive for Bakelite. It is 1" in diameter. It is "as found", I have not polished or cleaned it. There are a few tiny black spots on the metal part. There is some light edgewear which was difficult to photograph. It shows up best in my Photo #4 along with "Made In Germany".
Old Unused Decorated Leather Ink Blotter, Ink Bottle Shape ( Item # 38726 )
This old ink blotter is from another generation and has survived quite well. It is in very good condition, nice & clean. It has four sections tied together with an old green leather bow. It is stamped "FILL IT WITH INK". It measures 4" high x 3 3/4" across the bottom. It looks like it was probably hand made. This would be a very nice item for the collector of desk accessories or just old ink blotters.
